Questions about Live Seen
What is Live Seen?
Live Seen is a daily guide to live music across the UK. Every morning we check the ticket sites and venue listings and show you the gigs you can still get into, tonight and this weekend, with a link straight to the tickets.
Where can I find gigs with tickets still available tonight?
Go to Gigs tonight and pick your city. Every gig listed still has tickets on sale, is free, or is pay on the door. Sold-out shows are left out, so everything you see is something you can actually go to.
Can I buy last-minute or same-day gig tickets?
Yes. Most gigs keep selling tickets online until the doors open, and some sell more on the door. Our tonight pages are built for exactly this: each gig links to its official ticket page, so you can book in a couple of taps on the day.
Do you sell cheap or discounted last-minute tickets?
Not yet. The prices we show are the ticket seller's own, and when you click through you pay the seller directly. We're working towards last-minute deals with venues and promoters, so they can fill the last few spaces and you can get in for less. Follow your city's Live Seen account to hear first.
Why don't you list sold-out gigs?
Because you can't go to them. Most gig guides are full of shows that sold out months ago. We only list gigs with tickets still on sale, free entry, or pay on the door, so you're not scrolling past things you can't get into.
Are the ticket links official and safe?
Yes. We link to official sellers such as Skiddle, Ticketmaster, See Tickets, DICE and the venues' own box offices. We never link to resale or secondary ticket sites.
Do you sell tickets? Do you add a fee?
No. We don't sell tickets or add any fee. You buy from the official seller, and any booking fee is theirs. Some ticket links earn us a small commission from the seller, at no extra cost to you. It helps keep Live Seen free.
What do "pay on the door" and "free entry" mean?
Pay on the door means there are no advance tickets: turn up and pay at the venue, and we show the price where it's listed. Free entry means it costs nothing to get in. Popular free gigs can still fill up, so get there early.
What's on this weekend?
See Gigs this weekend for Friday to Sunday in your city. You can filter between live music and electronic (DJs and club nights).
What kind of gigs do you list?
Booked gigs by named acts, from grassroots venues and back rooms to arenas, plus DJs and club nights in the electronic section. We leave out open mics, jam sessions, pub cover bands, family events and themed hit nights.
Which cities do you cover?
We cover Brighton, London, Bristol, Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham, Norwich, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Southampton, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Sheffield, Edinburgh and Belfast, with more on the way.
When are the listings updated?
Every morning. The tonight and weekend pages are rebuilt at around 8am, and each city's Live Seen accounts post the day's picks. On Thursdays at midday we post the weekend's picks.
How do I find gigs at a venue near me?
Every city has a venues page listing the venues with gigs coming up. Open a venue to see everything on there in the next few weeks.
How do I get my gig listed?
Put it on sale through a ticket seller such as Skiddle, Ticketmaster or See Tickets, or on your venue's own website, and we'll usually find it within a day. If it's free or pay on the door and isn't showing, email hello@liveseen.co.uk with the details.
A gig is wrong, cancelled or sold out. How do I tell you?
Email hello@liveseen.co.uk and we'll fix it. Most changes are picked up automatically the next morning too.
Can I have an image of me or my band removed?
Yes. Email hello@liveseen.co.uk with the act or venue name and we'll take it down within 24 hours.
How do I follow Live Seen?
Each city has its own Live Seen accounts on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, posting the day's gigs every morning. Find your city's links on its page, or start from the home page.
